Start Your Journey

Teaching boys to become men starts long before they reach eighteen.

In a world that eats boys’ self-worth for sport, fathers have the power to empower their boys journey into adulthood - known as, the "coming-of-age"

The reality is that this journey must be done by dads or father figures.

What can father's and significant male role models do?

While we tend to think that teaching boys how to be a great man starts when they become a teen, logically, it starts long before then.

From the early years, the first 1000 days onwards till 12 years old, boy are actively watching, listening and learning about manhood by the way we're modeling it.

This means that father's must be intentional in their everyday life by;

  • showing up physically, emotionally and mentally

  • being willing to learn along with their son/s so that they can grow together and understand one another.

  • adapt their parenting style to meet their boy/s where they're at

🌱 Identify great men & women; teachers, coaches, realtives, mentors to connect and cooperate in supporting our son's coming-of-age journey.

Personal note: Mindset & Perspective.

As a father myself, I know how important it is for my sons to see me as his role model. I want them to know that;

  • I value them as an individual and

  • I want them to grow up knowing he can make choices about his own life without feeling like he has to live up to some kind of impossible standard.

I also want them to know;

  • how much I love them and support them in everything they do, even if it isn't what others think theh should do or even what they think he should do.

🌱Discover how a coming-of-age retreat maybe just what you and your son/s need right now.
